Whilst we pride ourselves on offering customers a complete service from consultation to completion, we know not every project is the same, with different requirements and specifications.
We appreciate that when you are looking to make an investment in your home, , it’s more than that, from creating functional spaces, to something totally different and unique… and that’s why we think it’s good to have a guide as to how we work and our process, helping to make the journey a little bit easier and ensuring you get the dream room you had hoped for.
Design Consultation
The first step is to make an appointment for your free design consultation at our Colne showroom with one of our designers. The aim of this time is to discuss in a relaxed, friendly environment, cuppa in-hand, your ideas, likes, dislikes and investment. Gathering a general feel of how you’d like to transform your space and forming an initial concept of what you’d like.
Technical Site Survey
After your initial consultation and you are excited to proceed with your project, the next step is to take a small deposit. Once the deposit is received our Installation Manager will organise to visit your property and conduct technical site survey. The site survey involves taking all relevant measurements and assessing the space, making sure it can achieve what has been discussed, this is to make sure there are no surprises along the way.
Bringing your vision to life
This is where it really starts to get exciting. Following on from the site survey, the team will discuss your project and put together a floor plan, making sure that the space works and hits the initial brief. We’ll then start to create a mood board, selecting the brands perfect for your investment and specification and visualise this with our 3d software ready to present.
The Presentation
The presentation is where it starts to get real. We’ll invite you back to the showroom to meet with your designer who will present a couple of concepts based on what has been discussed. It’s at this meeting where you can start to see it all come together. Once we’ve chatted through the ideas, we’ll then discuss the specifications and costings, we know this can generally be the over-riding factor so we are always keen to make sure we don’t over spec any project but create something beautiful.
Project Approval
Once you’ve made any amends and approved your chosen design, we’ll then ask for a deposit, once received we will then get the project booked in. At this stage we will appoint a project manager who will be responsible for ensuring the job runs on-time and to spec. Whether you have your own contractors you’d like to use or want us to manager the whole project we are always happy to liaise with sub-contractors and oversee any work on your project.
Looking after the clients
As a small business we pride ourselves on having close working relationships with our customers. And that is why we offer ra five-year guarantee on any project undertaken by ourselves. We want to ensure you’re able to fully enjoy your space with the confidence that our aftercare team will be on-hand.
