Our Story
How it all began

Harps founders Sharon & Paul Jackson have over 20 years experience in the tile and plumbing world, back in 2005 they began fulfilling their dream of running their own boutique tile and bathroom showroom.

All began

Back in 2005 Sharon & Paul visited Cervisama in Valencia and discovered a whole world of wonderful ceramics, porcelain glass and natural stone products.

The bright colours, patterned and embossed tiles were something the UK market didn’t really offer back then, it was more function over form and missing the creative element. After landing back in Manchester, inspired and in awe of the European tiling market, they started to re-imagine their careers, Sharon’s design sense combined with their industry passion and experience were the main factors in founding Harp Ceramics (now Harps).

After a bit more research, sourcing suppliers and securing premises, they bit the bullet and opened up their very own tile showroom in 2007, it was daunting but exciting time. This year Harps celebrate their 15 year anniversary.
